Tessa ran Spring Track. She is fantastic at the 400 meter run. She also did the 100 meter dash, Long Jump and Discus.

Memorial Day Weekend: Author Nathaniel Hawthorne's home. He purchased it from Louisa May Alcott's father. The home is over 300 years old. It is at Minute Man National Historic Place in Lexington, MA.
Minute Man NHP - Stamp and after about 6 hours there - the girls received their Junior Ranger badge. There is a lot to see here. Plan to spend the day if you go.
After Minute Man we went to Salem. We were exhausted, hungry and the National Parks were close to closing, but we still received three stamps.
Tessa was so tired, she refused to leave the Visitor's Center until she could color. She colored a ship and then did her own drawing of a sea horse (lower right-by her hand).

After our long walk on the Freedom Trail and visiting the USS Constitution, we hopped in a cab, to catch a ferry to the Boston Harbor Islands to get a stamp for Fort Warren. We saw this Jelly Fish in the Boston Harbor as we were boarding the ferry.

We went on a boat on part of the Erie Canal. Here were are in the locks, waiting for it to fill with water so we can continue on our journey. Who knew you can work for the Parks Service as a Locks operator...

Surprising - but yet another National Park Stamp in MA. The girls earned their Junior Ranger badge here too. They have quite the collection. Yes - Dagny is as tall as Gwen.
